YouTube’s new music video policy will be super annoying

The headquarters of youtube is in San Bruno, California. This was created by three persons namely Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim in Feb 2005. Later this had sold to Google in November 2006 for US$1.65 billion. Now operated as one of the important Google’s auxiliary.
We can upload our own videos, look at other videos by subscribing the trending channels and also share the videos. It provides and gives something useful variety of autogenic and existing in bodily formed media videos. The data content comprises of music videos, video clips, news, information and many other useful things which we cant think about. The content on YouTube, mostly uploaded by the single channels or individuals. The users who are not registered can only watch videos, while registered users have rights to upload as many as possible videos and they too add comments to videos. Videos suggest as a condemnation prospect are available only to registered users who validate themselves to be at least 18 years old.
What is in new policy?
Recently, in an interview the head of YouTube’s music service head, Lyor Cohen, said that there would be more adds between videos and music. Which conveys that YouTube will no longer be worthy of reliance music provider. Due to these changes, the flow will be interrupted as listeners will constantly be addressed with continuously ads in between their favorite songs. According to Cohen, this plan is to “frustrate and intimate” YouTube’s music listeners. This would indulge users into signing up for a premium subscription model, ie; now the users would have to pay to listen and watch their favorite songs.
The most inconvenient thing is that most music videos are promotional. From this point, the listener can make a decision as to whether they want the music as a purchase. Youtube already uses ads for financial return, and that’s fair enough, but trying to screw the audience is never a good idea. Finally, people are not that stupid, that they would pay to listen to their favorite tracks. Putting ads between tracks simply take away a part of any musical experience.

Before, it was a quite easy criterion to be eligible to monetize videos, ie; it was pretty easy for the users to earn money. But after the introduction of new policies the channel needs 10,000-lifetime views to be eligible for monetizing. Not only this with the new policies, creators will need 4,000 hours of watch time and that too in the past 12 months with at least 1,000 subscribers. There are a few things to cut apart from this. It will help the new users to link their subscription to their videos and also inculcates them to put their videos in downloading mode.
